Thanks Downstream, for a really pleasant day trip. Never tried any of the food venues, but that guffet was packing them in during my midweek visit. Good, because I plan to return and make a day and night of it someday soon.

Heard the rooms in the hotel were nicely appointed and very comfortable. Held my own after 4hrs of play and left just south of even.

There was a snack grill and a full on buffet, and they were mildly generous with some free slot play and food comps for newbies like me. Dont recall if I saw any table games, but I know they had a poker room that was getting lots of comers. Something for every slot or video poker fan. Im picky about this, but I never smelled smoke, which was a big plus.

Though smoking was allowed, the HVAC system was built to handle it. The casino itself was spacious and very clean. Fine garden grunds and very nice hotel and casino buildings, done in a tasteful Native American motif. Its just off the highway about 10 feet across the OK line. One fine May morning, we laid the top down on the convertible and drove the 120 miles or so from KC down tothe Joplin area to chek it out.
